In Melbourne, Australia, a commemoration was held for the Revolution of 1848 March 15, symbolising national independence and freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vit\u00e9z Lilla K\u00f6vesdy-\u00c1mon, Staff Captain of Australia Region, Vit\u00e9z Nob.  M\u00e1ria Fekete de Gal\u00e1ntha, Seat Captain of Victoria Region and Vit\u00e9z Caroline Fazakas laid flowers at the Heroes Memorial at the Hungarian Centre, Melbourne, Australia. They were then joined by Vit\u00e9z Istv\u00e1n M\u00e1rton and Vitez Kat\u00f3 M\u00e1rton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several members of the Order of Vit\u00e9z have strong connections with the Hungarian Community. The wreathing was followed by a special commemoration performance, opened by Istv\u00e1n T\u00e1rody the Hungarian Consul in Melbourne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A performance with the title: \u201cI am Hungarian\u201d was presented by the Tab\u00e1n Dance Ensemble, Tall\u00e1ros Ensemble, Hungarian Centre Fon\u00f3 Dance Ensemble, and Melbourne independent dancers and actors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
