G\u00e1bor von Hegyi de Agyagfalva, Staff Captain of Germany Region<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Hungarians of North Rhine-Westphalia also commemorated the 1956 Revolution and War of Independence in a dignified manner. As every year, the program began with the laying of a wreath at the Memorial Cross of 1956 located in the yard of the Hungarian House, where the Hungarian Catholic Church and the Order of Vit\u00e9z laid a wreath. The cross was erected by our compatriots who fled in 1956, in memory of the martyrs of the revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the wreath-laying, the celebrating audience marched to the Basilica of the Holy Apostles, where we prayed a rosary, and then the gathered prayed for the victims of the 1956 Revolution at the celebratory mass.
