The Partium Region Seat Captaincy of the Order of Vit\u00e9z organized a commemorative event from March 27-29, 2026, to mark the 350th anniversary of the birth of Prince Ferenc R\u00e1k\u00f3czi II. The event, held with the intent of establishing a new tradition, was well-attended by members of the Order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proceedings began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the bust of Ferenc R\u00e1k\u00f3czi II de Fels\u0151vad\u00e1sz, Prince of Transylvania and Ruling Prince of Hungary, following a welcoming and commemorative speech by Vit\u00e9z Attila Istv\u00e1n Szak\u00e1l, Seat Captain of Partium Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Reformed Chain Church of Szatm\u00e1rn\u00e9meti (Satu Mare), Reformed pastor Zolt\u00e1n Korda held a brief commemoration, followed by a visit to the Roman Catholic Episcopal Palace. There, the attendees were received and guided by Episcopal Secretary J\u00f3zsef Famen and later welcomed by the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Szatm\u00e1r, His Excellency Jen\u0151 Sch\u00f6nberger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series of events concluded on the 29th with a worship service at the Reformed Chain Church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
