On the morning of October 6, 2026, on the Day of Remembrance for the Martyrs of Arad, eight members represented the Order of Vit\u00e9z at the commemorative ceremony organised by the Csepel Municipality. We placed the wreath of our Order and candles of remembrance at the memorial plaque. Our representatives were: Vit\u00e9z Margit K\u00f3tai, Seat Captain; Vit\u00e9z J\u00f3zsef Pint\u00e9r; Mrs. J\u00f3zsefn\u00e9 Pint\u00e9r (\u00c1gnes); Vit\u00e9z Attila Hollik; Vit\u00e9z P\u00e1l Beck; Vit\u00e9z Marcel Kettner; Vit\u00e9z Tibor \u0150szy; and Vit\u00e9z L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Nagy. Honour to the heroes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the evening, our legitimate Order of Vit\u00e9z was also represented at a commemoration dedicated to Count Lajos Batthy\u00e1ny, Hungary’s first Prime Minister, who was executed as a martyr during the Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence of 1848\u20131849. The commemoration took place in the small square in Budapest where the memorial erected in his honour \u2013 the Batthy\u00e1ny Eternal Flame \u2013 stands. The event was organised by Vit\u00e9z Countess Margit Batthy\u00e1ny-Schmidt and her son, Vit\u00e9z Count \u00c1d\u00e1m Boldizs\u00e1r Batthy\u00e1ny. Our Order was further represented by Vit\u00e9z Margit K\u00f3tai, Seat Captain; Vit\u00e9z Nob. M\u00e1ria Medveczky; Vit\u00e9z Nob. Gy\u00f6rgy Pal\u00e1sthy, Seat Captain; Vit\u00e9z Nob. Ferenc Heged\u00fcs, Staff Captain; Vit\u00e9z P\u00e1l Beck; and Vit\u00e9z Zolt\u00e1n Nagy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
