Care and Research of Heroic Graves in Hungary and Balkány

Under the organization of Order of Vitéz ‘s North-East Hungary Seat Captaincy, retired Colonel Imre Kovács, the Hungarian representative of the German War Graves Commission, and Captain Márk Bihari, a reservist officer from the 5th Military Recruitment and Replacement Office of the Hungarian Defence Forces Military Administration and Central Registry Command, gave a presentation on the “Research and Care of Heroic Graves in Hungary.” Representing the Order of Vitéz, vitéz Zoltán József Molnár, the Seat Captain of Northeast Hungary Region, spoke on the topic of “Research and Care of Heroic Graves in the Nyírség region and Balkány.” Our guests included Lieutenant Colonel Zsolt Nagy, Head of the Social Relations and War Graves Division at the Hungarian Defence Forces Territorial Defence Command, and Major József Kertész, Head of the 5th Military Recruitment and Replacement Office at the Hungarian Defence Forces Military Administration and Central Registry Command. At the end of the event, the attendees, along with Father Gábor Szabó, recited a prayer for our heroic dead.
