Farewell to Vitéz Sándor István Sebestyén, Seat Captain of Northeast Hungary Region

January 22, 2024

With deep sorrow, we announce that Captain Sebestyén Sándor, the Seat Captain of Northeast Hungary Region, passed away on January 19, 2024. On January 27, 2024, Saturday, at 11:00 in the morning, we bid farewell to him in Gégény, at the cemetery, according to Catholic ceremony. (17 Rákóczi Street, Gégény, 4517.) On behalf of Order of Vitéz, our comrade vitéz István Fülöp Lieutenant, retired vice chairman of the county assembly, bids farewell as the oldest friend among us. The grieving family invites members of the Vitézi Order to an agape after the ceremony. Dress code for members: Bocskai suit, grand badge, without decorations. We will cherish his memory in our hearts.

“I have fought a good fight: I have finished my course: I have kept the faith. As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice which the Lord the just judge will render to me in that day: and not only to me, but to them also that love his coming”. (2 Timothy 4:7–8)

Rest in peace, Nemzetes Seat Captain. The Order of Vitéz thanks him for everything he did for the Order tirelessly and enthusiastically, always with a smile on his face.
